  • Liang // 2009-03-05 20:36:00

just like an intro to a movie where they show the whole city of where the film is located, just love this kind of approach, well done!
  • Deniss Saksa // 2009-03-05 22:44:48

That's huge! Great idea and implementation. If only the cars were moving.
  • Jorna // 2009-03-05 23:12:15

Very nice, is it made from more photos than one? Kind of like a panaorama?
  • kr3st0 // 2009-03-05 23:18:27

    Amazing Tokyo, amazing!
  • sherri // 2009-03-05 23:40:19

What an exceptional vantage point. Your capture is superb, giving such a sense of the size of the city.

Agree with above. Exquisite details, clarity.
I'm lost just trying to find my way through this image. Can't imagine visiting Tokyo (though I did 20 years ago). Glad I lived in a small Japanese city, and took trains to the three cities to which I had to go for my work.
  • Kippel // 2009-03-06 01:44:42

Superb panoramic. Specially made vertical when almost all are horizontal, quite refreshing and impresive.
  • Andy // 2009-03-06 05:46:24

Wow did you stitch this together? Great job! I just kept scrolling and scrolling down and it keeps going. Superb panoramic!
  • Laja // 2009-03-06 07:51:07

  • Jonas // 2009-03-06 09:27:30

Snaking highway through a concrete jungle of buildings, that's an amazing vertical panorama!

@Andy - no, I didn't stitch it together, it's just a single shot (you have to use all those megapixels :) )

Like looking at a great big vain of a living organism, if it breaks down, it all comes to a stop!

    bravo, è veramente bello.
si può avere in formato gigante?
  • warren // 2009-05-25 11:05:13

I at first had trouble believing this wasn't stitched together until I looked at the cars and trucks and it became obvious it wasn't. Besides the brilliant moment, how were you able to get so much detail into a single frame? What lens, camera and settings were used? Was this cropped from a larger panoramic view? How did you get the exposure to be so perfect as there is detail in the brightest and darkest parts of the picture. Was HDR used?
  • Jesse // 2009-08-15 12:17:24

    Well done, I love it.
